Time for the "heavy" propagandists

Under the headline "daily debate" 030607 , it is said that Peter Anstrin refutes the critics against Narconon and scientology.

Peter Anstrin recently published a book in his name, although according to litterature critic ,Jörn Spolander in the Daily Medicin, the book was mostly a misch masch of earlier text publications from CCHR (Citizens Commission on Human Rights) , the branch on the scientologytree that has been given the task to obliterate psychiatry from the surface of the planet. A typical action by CCHR is posterdemonstrations outside psychiatric carecenters and courthouses in the US whenever a disappointed patient or relative tries to sue the pharmaceutical industry for unwanted sideeffects from their medication. They have for example claimed that serotoninreuptakeinhibitors (SSRI) has caused suicide and murder as well , a totally ludicrous claim. The possibility to win cases like this , should be near non-existent. CCHR also publishes books, disseminates pamflettes, holds meetings and lectures etc.

In his debatecontribution, Anstrin calles me a paranoic due to my critic against scientology and Narconon. He continues by whith emphasing the important task that CCHR has in "revealing" all lies from psychiatry and calls the two recent violent tragedies in Stockholm a "wave of violence" proving that psychiatry creates violence. He states that psychiatric care costs society 50 Biljons per year. ( The National Board of Health and Wellfare estimates that psychiatry answers for 10,5 biljon kronas which corresponds to about 11% of the total costs of all health and wellfare in Sweden per year)

He continues refering to to different "investigations and reports" (of course without giving references to his sources) which is all said to proof the incompetence of psychiatry and what a danger it is to the lifes and healths of its patients. Furthermore hi states that all suicides is committed six month after an initial contact wiyh psychiatry, that the postive effects of antidepressants is nothing but wishful thinking from the pharmaceutical industry, thhat the National Board of Health and Wellfare in 1998 stated that a psychiatric patient had an multifolded risk of premature death (this is correct) and draws the conclusion that this is a proof of how dangerous psychiatry is. ( This is pure bullshit. It is not psychiatry that causes the diseases or the prejudice against the mentally ill, a prejudice expressed also from other areas within the healthsystem and actually leeds to a lower quality in care in many instances. The fact that 90 % of completed suicides is committed by peoples with a mental disorder or illnes, is by itself a crucial factor of the elevated risk of premature death in this group)

According to Anstrin, metadone and other drugs is he only help a drugaddict is offered in psychiatric care and rehabilitation. He then jumps to "chocking reports" from the US, Denmark and other countries, that concludes that mortality amongst metadontreated are higher than amongst heroineaddicts, (another bullshit statement. The swedish metadoprogram cannot be compared with corresponding programs in other countries because of our much higher control and security levels all the way through the program) and that psychiatry is behind all illegal drugs in the world, (now he is really steamed up!) and responsible to all the murders and violent crimes committed in american schools, that amfetamine treatment to hyperactive children has killed 186 , led to hospitalization in 529 cases whereof 34 with lifethreatening conditions, that infants in US is treated with antipsychotics a 169 % increase since last year. He appoints me to "Infantpsychiatrist" and "understands" me being shocked when drugfree alternatives is discussed.
